SPRINT (International Paediatric Surgical Training Programme) is a free, virtual educational forum that hosts regular seminars and dedicated “Sprint Saturday” sessions.
Since its inception in 2020, Sprint Saturday sessions have been successfully
delivered, featuring contributions from esteemed guest speakers across the field.
These sessions encompass a broad spectrum of topics within Paediatric and Neonatal Surgery and Urology, including fundamental sciences such as embryology, pathophysiology, surgical management, and postoperative complications.
Although originally designed for senior paediatric surgical trainees, the programme has drawn interest from a wider audience, including paediatricians, neonatologists, general surgeons, senior nursing staff, and enthusiastic medical students.
Each session begins promptly at 09:30 (UK time) and typically runs for one hour, concluding with a 10-minute segment for questions and interactive discussion.
At SPRINT, we are committed to providing high-quality education free of charge. Our content is regularly updated to reflect current evidence and evolving best practices. We welcome and encourage feedback through our website and social media channels to help us continue improving and expanding our educational offerings.
